Gumball 3000

TRISTAN EATON

Having joined the Rally with Guess in 2015, the LA based Graffitti artist is now moving the largest of his future projects across the pond and tackling one of the most interesting pieces of British WW2 history.

Tristan drove the 2015 Rally with Guess models Danielle Knudson, Natalie Pack and now Playboy cover model Simone Holtznagel. Not only did Tristan create beautiful murals along the 3,000 mile transatlantic route but he also designed the wraps for the Guess Dodge Vipers which quickly became a social media viral trend.

A few words from Tristan on his first Gumball 3000 Rally.

‘2015 Gumball 3000 was the craziest experience of my life. My favorite memory was rolling into Amsterdam on my birthday, pulling up to a wall in a Dodge Viper where my local pals had birthday champagne waiting for me - I painted a beautiful mural for Guess, hit the hotel party where I celebrated with Max, Bun B and the Guess models then jumped on a private Jumbo Jet with no sleep, wearing custom Gumball pyjamas. My mother was proud (and jealous).’

Tristan’s next art work is perhaps his most ambitious yet. He is used to scaling multi story walls to paint murals however this plan will see him painting the Maunsell forts out in the thames estuary. Living on a purpose built raft moored to the structures, working 6 days on, 2 days off dangling above the english channel.

To complete this huge piece of art he has enlisted the help of Gumball 3000 alumni ‘Futura 2000’, as well as Shepard Fairey, How & Nosm and Revok. The larger team will include about 30 people working tirelessly for 2 months to bring his incredible vision to fruition. We are incredibly excited about this project and the documentary that is being filmed about the process.
